Tonight’s newscast reports the California power grid urges everyone to conserve energy in the next fews days during the heat wave. With such high temperatures hitting the western United States, California is getting less electricity into the state. Turn off all unnecessary lights, appliances, and set your air conditioners to 78 degrees.
In reply to a threat from Iran, Trump issues an all-caps threat.
Trump wrote, “To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!”
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo states U.S. is willing to talk with Iran though.
This hot weather is not only happening in the western U.S. but a record breaking heat wave is also hitting Japan, killing 44. Almost all the victims were senior citizens.
