In today’s Hmong news, Bee provides an update on the mass shooting that killed 4 a week ago. The latest from Fresno police is that they are still searching for the gunmen. They have stepped up patrols in the neighborhood to provide a sense of calming after the tragedy.
Candle light vigils were held every night since the tragedy in front of the house where the shooting took place.
Of the 4 that died, Xy Lee is the youngest at only 23 years old. The three other men that died are: 38-year-old Kou Xiong, 31-year-old Phia Vang and 40-year-old Kalaxang Thao.
Xy Lee was an up and coming recording artist with dreams to build is own recording studio one day. The short time that he’s been in Fresno, he was able to put together a close community of Hmong performers.
